Every year, on the day after Thanksgiving, “Sad Trees” across Brooke Hoffman’s hometown of Flower Mound, Texas, transform with holiday decorations, bringing the community together in joy and celebration. Inspired by this cherished tradition, Brooke collaborated with her children to create The Sad Tree, a whimsical and heartfelt story that offers hope, joy, and inspiration during life’s challenging moments. Loosely based on her own experiences, this story is a reminder of the beauty that can emerge even in difficult times.
